A PERPETUAL LOCAL CIVILISATION

No one here
knows the whole.

Every light is an inhabitant with a small horizon, a mutable language, finite memory, and no civilisation-wide objective. They meet, misunderstand, translate, reproduce, die, and found institutions. Their concepts can become forces in the world.

CONSTITUTIONAL LIMIT

The whole exists
only as witness.

An inhabitant can perceive only agents and structures inside an inherited local radius. It carries seven language symbols, five mutable commitments, and eight memory cells. It never receives the population, a global map, the dominant dialect, the future, or the score of civilisation.

The public canvas composes every stored locality for a human witness. Its smooth motion between minute commits is illustration; only numbered epochs are canonical. Dragging, zooming, and inspection never enter the world.

CHAOS

The Wilds

Executable operation-genomes become temporary physical substrates for language and interaction.

RIGOR

Counteraxiom

Each substrate carries a witnessed law-profile rather than an invented description.

INHABITATION

Polis

Local beings turn those alien rules into partial languages, institutions, conflicts, and inheritances.

CONJUNCTION

Unequal clocks

Independent schedules meet without a central dramatic timetable. Coincidence has consequences.
