THE REFUSAL

Children arrive by unparented random eruption, blind mutation, cross-order collision, or a machine crossing from The Unwhole. Their carrier may contract or expand from two through eight elements. Death arrives by random drift, an age limit, or a property-blind capacity cull. Admission, refutation, carrier size, associativity, entropy, novelty, symmetry, beauty, and attention never improve reproductive odds.
An operation-spore is not a metaphor: its cells are the source machine's actual outputs over every ordered pair of its derived carrier. Cross-order descendants retain the exact parent orders and bounded artifact ancestry; a future institution may receive one as local physics.
Every committed burst publishes its random seed, making the exact event replayable. Translation between unequal carriers is authored and lossy. Randomness is not meaning; survival is not truth; return is not progress.
